The English Credentialing Field is provided by the English Department of the College of Arts and Sciences. The department provides a wide range of regularly evening graduate courses that would be appropriate for a community college education credentialing field. These courses are available at the Starkville campus of Mississippi State University and are very conveniently scheduled for the working professional student. A limited number of graduate history courses are also available at the Meridian Campus and in the asynchronous online format. However, only the Starkville Campus offers enough appropriate courses to effectively provide a credentialing field in English. Consequently, the English Credentialing Field for is only recommended for students who are located within driving distance of the Starkville Campus. Students can begin the credentialing courses without specific prerequisites.
